Commencing this weekend and continuing until April 20, the 2024 Australian Swimming Championships are making a splash on 9Now, offering 13 days of top-tier swimming action at no cost.
This event is a showcase of talent across different categories, accessible live and entirely free on Nine’s streaming service, 9Now.
9Now is set to broadcast every session, both heats and finals, across three classifications, ensuring that fans won’t miss a moment of the action.
The competition kicks off with the national age championships, featuring over 2,500 young swimmers aged between 12 and 18 years, who are eyeing future participation in the Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics. This segment runs from April 6 to 14.
Simultaneously, from April 6 to 9, Australia’s established and hopeful Paralympians are competing in the Australian Multi Class Championships, spanning four days.
The spotlight then shifts to the country’s top-tier swimmers at the Australian Open Championships, scheduled from April 17 to 20.
Names like Ariarne Titmus, Emma McKeon, Kaylee McKeown, Kyle Chalmers, Mollie O’Callaghan, Elijah Winnington, Sam Short, and Zac Stubblety-Cook are all expected to participate, marking their journey towards the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Moreover, the Australian Open Championships will act as a precursor to the Olympic Swimming Trials set for June 10, which will also be exclusively broadcasted live and free on the 9Network.
