Channel 10 again capitalises on the non-ratings period offerings to lead the commercials.

  • Total TV Overnight Top 30 and Consolidated 7 Top 30 National Total TV reach is calculated using cumulative unique audiences watching 1 min of broadcast TV and 15 sec of BVOD.
  • Total TV National audience is calculated using the audience average for the program as time-coded by the Network across 5CM and all regional markets nationally watching on broadcast TV and BVOD.
  • BVOD national audience is calculated using the total number of minutes watched (including co-viewing) divided by the length of the program.

PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

It was a tight race for first place in the commercial primetime offerings, with I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia (687,000 avg) (lw 581k) on Channel 10 taking top honours ahead of The 1% Club UK (673,000 avg) (lw 741k) on Seven, leaving Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars Australia (431,000 avg) (lw 459k) on Nine in the distance of both.

No changes for the 7pm commercial programs:
A Current Affair (1,046,000 avg) on Nine
Home and Away (808,000 avg) on Seven
The Project (321,000 avg) (6:30pm-7:30pm) on 10.

Mid-week comedy continued to perform very well on the ABC, with the reliable 7:30 (781,000 avg) (lw 709k)/Hard Quiz (721,000 avg) (lw 701k) double taking primetime and leading the way for The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (620,000 avg) (lw 623k) and Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2024: Allstars Supershow (327,000 avg).

Later primetime delivered a win for The Front Bar (591,000 avg) (lw 543k) on Seven, followed by Australian Crime Stories: The Investigators (303,000 avg) on Nine and FBI: International (200,000 avg) (lw 187k) on 10.

Alone Australia (248,000 avg) (lw 262k) on SBS continued on, with last week’s season two premiere ep nearly doubling with the Consolidated 7 figures.
