2024 brings a new twist to MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA with three new judges joining Andy Allen.
MasterChef Australia is set to return with a refreshed panel of judges on Monday, 22 April at 7:30 pm, airing on 10 and 10 Play.
This season, alongside veteran judge Andy Allen, the show introduces three new culinary talents: Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
Having clinched the runner-up position in MasterChef Australia‘s inaugural season, Poh Ling Yeow brings a unique perspective to the judging table. Poh herself admits to a lingering affinity for the contestants’ experience, positioning her as an empathetic mentor and advisor for the aspiring chefs.
Sofia Levin is celebrated for her extensive culinary journey, which includes writing about and exploring global cuisines. With a life committed not just to food but to the joy of eating, Sofia‘s passion and unique vocabulary for gastronomy promise to bring a fresh dynamic to the show.
Jean-Christophe Novelli, a chef adorned with multiple Michelin stars and hailing from France, introduces a touch of international flair with his distinctive charm and vast culinary wisdom. Known for his vibrant personality, Jean-Christophe is expected to add both expertise and entertainment to the competition.
Andy Allen, who has previously won MasterChef Australia and served as a judge, will continue to lead the panel. Known for his genuine approach and extensive culinary knowledge, Andy is set to guide the new ensemble of judges as they navigate through the season’s exciting new challenges.
