BBC Studios has announced an innovative step for the Bluey brand, featuring stars like Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Eva Mendes, and Rob Delaney in a series that brings Bluey storybooks to life.
The Bluey Book Reads series, launched on Bluey.tv, is a collaboration between BBC Studios Social, BBC Studios Kids & Family, and Ludo Studio, showcasing a high-profile roster of celebrities narrating beloved Bluey storybooks.
The series features a mix of off-screen narration by international celebrities, paired with visuals from the Bluey storybooks and interspersed with live-action clips.
Notables like Bindi Irwin, Tom Daley, and Jenna Fischer contribute their voices, among others, enriching the storytelling experience.
This initiative marks Bluey Book Reads as the first independent content piece by BBC Studios Social for Bluey, following their recognition as European Publisher Of The Year at the Lovie Awards in 2023. The series begins with “Mini Bluey” narrated by Australian icons, the Minogue sisters.
Jasmine Dawson, SVP of Digital at BBC Studios, expressed pride in the project, highlighting Bluey‘s global appeal and the aim to centre the audience in the brand’s expansion.

Episodes are scheduled for release twice a month on Bluey.tv and the official Bluey YouTube channel, excluding Australia, with a lineup of stories set to unfold from February to June 2024.
Bluey books, integral to the series, are published globally by Penguin Random House and its imprints, catering to audiences in the UK, US, and Australia.
