Fetch TV and Paramount Australia Strengthen Partnership with Channel Additions

Fetch TV and Paramount Australia have announced the extension of their longstanding channel partnership. This alliance is set to bring a refreshing and expanded range of channels to the audiences of Fetch TV.

The expansion includes the introduction of two new music channels, MTV 90s and MTV 00s. These channels are dedicated to genre-specific music, offering a nostalgic journey through the music of these memorable decades. In a strategic rebranding, MTV Classic will now be known as MTV 80s, completing a trilogy that delves into the music of the 80s, 90s, and 00s.

The partnership will continue to deliver a robust line-up of music and entertainment channels. Favourites such as MTV, MTV Hits, Club MTV, and CMT remain, alongside popular children’s channels Nick, Nick Jr., and Nick Music.

With these channels, Fetch TV asserts its role as a pivotal partner for Paramount Australia, hosting a total of 10 channels on its platform.

“We are delighted to work with the Paramount’s music masters at MTV to enhance our music line up with dedicated decade channels bringing better music choice to the Fetch audience.”

said Sam Hall, Chief Content and Commercial Officer of Fetch TV.

Echoing this sentiment, Daniel Monaghan, Senior Vice President, Content and Programming at Paramount Australia, highlighted the partnership’s benefits:

“This partnership with Fetch gives Australian audiences more ways to watch our music and children’s content with easy access to iconic brands and franchises including MTV and Nickelodeon.”

The partnership also reinforces the children’s programming on Fetch. The “Nick” channel, previously known as Nickelodeon, has been rebranded to provide all-day entertainment for children aged 5-12. It features popular shows like SpongeBob SquarePants and The Loud House. Nick Jr. will cater to preschool children with programs including PAW Patrol, Blaze and the Machines, and Baby Shark.

This diverse line-up on Fetch TV showcases an array of entertainment options for children, families, and music enthusiasts. Highlights include:
