Channel 7 aired the Grand Finale for it’s 2023 Season of Big Brother. The votes were in and housemates Tay and Ari were declared winners. TV Blackbox has an exclusive interview with the Queensland Sisters.
After a whirlwind of a season, we finally got the chance to vote for our favourite housemates. Our winners overcome hurdle after hurdle and did they find what they were looking for in the house of love? Even if they didn’t, they came out a lot richer then when they went in. Introducing the first ever multiple housemate winners in the history of Australian Big Brother; Tay and Ari Wilcoxson.
Tay and Ari Wilcoxson (23 and 20) are influencers from the Gold Coast. Winning Big Brother is just the beginning for these girls and they both radiated a confident glowing knowing their world was full of possibilities.
Older sister Tay drove a lot of the conversation. She was the first one to decide to apply for Big Brother and encouraged Ari to apply separately. “It wasn’t until the day before filming started”, they experienced their own plot twist: the sisters were going into the house as one housemate.
They went in hoping for a good time, not a long time but their “genuine connections” with the other housemates steered them clear from nominations most weeks.
With $100,000 now in the bank, the sisters are hoping to “give back to their family, travel to some unique places” and get a start on their business. Anything if possible for these two!
