Yesterday the ABC presented their annual programming showcase event for 2024, revealing a line-up of returning content and new announcements, so we take a look at everything missing or not returning to your screens next year.
There was plenty of announcements for both returning and new content, and lots to be excited about from our Public Broadcaster in 2024, however you might have noticed some of your favourite shows weren’t included in the announcements yesterday.
It’s not entirely unusual for shows to not be mentioned as returning or cancelled at Upfront events, with renewals and discussions still pending about certain shows futures, and with the event a time to look at all the shows that are returning or new for the year ahead.
We’ve reviewed all of the press releases from the event and come up with a number of shows that were omitted, either not returning to screens (some not entirely unexpected) and those that may still be announced at a later date.
