On Saturday Australians will head to the polls for the nation’s first Referendum in 24 years.

There have been months of heated debate on whether Australia should amend the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament. This crucial Referendum will finally put that decision in Australian voters’ hands.

From the Northern Territory to Tasmania, and across the nation, Sky News will bring viewers live coverage and expert analysis canvassing every angle, as the nation votes ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to the proposed change.

Join Tim Gilbert and Jaynie Seal from 6.00am for Weekend Edition, as Australians cast their vote. Then, Peter Stefanovic hosts Weekend Live: Referendum Day from 10:00am, before Ashleigh Gillon leads us through the final hours of critical voting from 2:00pm.

In-depth coverage unpacking what the result will mean for Australia on this landmark evening begins live at 5.00pm with The Voice Referendum LIVE, anchored by Sky News Chief News Anchor Kieran Gilbert, and featuring an expert Sky News panel including, Political Editor Andrew Clennell, and Anchors Chris Kenny and Peta Credlin.

Joining the Sky News team on the panel will be Communications Minister Michelle Rowland, Nationals Leader David Littleproud,Honorary Fellow at Australian Catholic University and Indigenous Affairs Commentator Anthony Dillon, former Labor Minister in the Rudd-Gillard governments Stephen Conroy and Co-Convenor of Liberals for Yes and Chairman of Uphold & Recognise Sean Gordon.

As part of the day’s full coverage, the Sky News national team of reporters including Sky News Anchors Paul Murray and Laura Jayes, and Northern Australia Correspondent and host of The Voice: Australia Decides documentary Matt Cunningham will report from all corners of the country, speaking to voters about the Voice campaign run-up and what determined their decision.
