Arthur worries about Maggie’s friendship, and Robbie’s marriage teeters in Mother and Son’s season finale episode.
The spotlight is on Arthur, portrayed by Matt Okine, as he grapples with fears surrounding his mother, Maggie (played by Denise Scott). His anxieties are fueled by Maggie’s newly formed bond with her friend, Heather, a role taken on by Jean Kittson.
His suspicions come to life when the duo brings turmoil to the newly opened restaurant of Tony and Maya, brought to life by Ferdinand Hoang and Catherine Văn-Davies.
But the family drama doesn’t stop there. Robbie (enacted by Angela Nica Sullen) finds her marriage on rocky grounds, thanks in part to an unintended interference by Arthur.
The much-anticipated episode has been penned by the talented trio of Matt Okine, Sarah L. Walker, and Tristram Baumber. It is a production of A Wooden Horse specifically for the ABC, with significant production investment coming from Screen Australia in collaboration with the ABC. Development and financing were supported by Screen NSW, and it’s noteworthy to mention that this captivating series draws its roots from the original by Geoffrey Atherden.
This last chapter of the series was brought to life under the vigilant eyes of producer Jude Troy. Assisting her was Alexandra Cameron as Associate Producer. The executive reins were in the hands of Jude Troy, Richard Finlayson, Matt Okine, and Geoffrey Atherden. From the ABC’s end, Todd Abbott and Louise Smith stood as Executive Producers.
Most stupidest show I’ve watched
The old series was wonderful.
This one was woeful.
