The Block is buzzing with drama, and at the epicenter is the major fallout between Kristy and Brett on one side and Eliza and Liberty on the other.
The simmering feud came to a head at Scotty’s HQ, and everyone’s talking about it.
Eliza took it upon herself to confront Kristy about her actions. In her defense, Kristy remained steadfast in her claim: she believes Eliza and her sibling Liberty are the recipients of preferential treatment. A sentiment which Eliza and Liberty strongly disagree with. They’ve even made observations about Kristy and Brett’s communication style, stating that they often speak in a manner they find inappropriate, even to their close friend, Steph.
It’s not just a matter of words. Kristy feels that Eliza has shown her “true colours” and with a defiant tone implied, why not burn down The Block? It’s evident that tensions are high.
In the midst of the renovation frenzy, particularly the master ensuite bathrooms, Leah finds herself in a precarious position. The unfolding drama has left her contemplating the consequences her friendship with Kristy might have on her and Ash’s journey on The Block. There’s a looming fear of being judged due to association.
This week presented other challenges for Eliza and Liberty as they had to make the tough decision of parting ways with their builders, Mark and Dave. However, a silver lining appeared in the form of their new team, Robbie and Chris.
Scotty and Alice Stolz from Domain dropped a bombshell on the contestants with the announcement of the Domain Listing challenge. With limited time on hand, the Blockheads are tasked with crafting a captivating Domain listing of their houses. Additionally, they’ll be opening their doors to a whopping 100 potential buyers, giving them a glimpse of their work so far. The stakes are high with a whopping prize of $50,000 – a new record on The Block.
Taking a breather from the tension, Eliza and Liberty enjoyed their Ford getaway with Scott. The duo filled him in on all the juicy happenings back at base.
As the contestants prep for the Domain challenge, the drama seems to be the only topic of conversation. And, it’s not just restricted to Kristy, Brett, Eliza, and Liberty; Leah and Ash are now being roped into the mix.
During a crew BBQ, Leah approached Eliza for the first time since the Sunday showdown. Eager to clear the air, she expressed a desire to discuss Kristy. It’s apparent that Leah is reevaluating her relationship with Kristy, and things might be about to change dramatically.
