A late-week run of MKR in AFL states lifted Seven.

Channel 7

Seven consistent again, with Home & Away (417,000) maintaining its audience average before giving over to an AFL-free night that kicked off with a body-swap of MKR (326,000 MEL/ADL/PER) or a double Border Patrol (112,000; 102,000 BNE/SYD), Air Crash Investigations (192,000) and The Front Bar (365,000 (140,000 MEL)), the latter two flipped around in the schedule, prioritised in the AFL states.

Seven first in both primary (23.2%) and network (30.6%) rankings.

Channel 9

Nine’s night, after A Current Affair (596,000), ebbed and flowed a little too much as RBT (302,000), repeat of Emergency (273,000), and Casualty 24/7 (171,000) managed to attract a medical-ob-doc focused audience that didn’t offer much success. US drama Chicago Med (70,000) closed out the Network’s schedule.

Nine second in both primary (18.5%) and network (26.5%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (387,000) started the night strong before Foreign Correspondent (289,000) underwhelmed in its audience draw. Grand Designs: House of the Year (306,000) attracted its dedicated audience before the night was given over to repeats of Griff’s Great Australian Rail Trip (199,000), Art Works (72,000), and The Whiteley Art Scandal (29,000).

ABC third in both primary (11.9%) and network (17.4%) rankings.

Channel 10

Another night of ups and downs for 10. The Project (152,000 6:30pm; 252,000 7pm) hits its low for the week before Gogglebox Australia (462,000) easily takes the primetime slot. The premiere of Sam Taunton – Rooster (103,000) holds only a portion of its lead-in, and then repeats of The Cheap Seats (66,000) and Law & Order: SVU (38,000) flesh out the late night.

10 fourth in both primary (10.1%) and network (16.1%) rankings.

SBS

The very excellent Great Australian Walks with Julia Zemiro (157,000) opened SBS’s night, and was followed by Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico (52,000) and Crime (50,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (4.4%) and network (9.3%) rankings.
