Question Everything, the ABC TV program that has been cutting through the clutter of news media, is set to make a comeback.
The show, hosted by Wil Anderson and Jan Fran, will air its third season starting Wednesday, 18 October at 8.30pm on both ABC TV and ABC iview.
With an agenda that transcends mere news commentary, Question Everything has etched its name as the highest-rated ABC show that starts with the letter Q, even outpacing QI, Q&A, Queen of Oz, and all documentaries related to Qanon.
“Honestly, we were initially concerned about running out of material for a third season.
Yet, the onslaught of misinformation just keeps coming. We might even require more episodes to sift through it all,”
said Wil Anderson.
The series doesn’t merely dismantle media narratives but opts not to reassemble them, offering viewers an authentic experience steeped in both humour and insight.
The panel in the new nine-episode season aims to arm the audience with critical tools to unravel news reports and debunk misinformation. The focus is on staying informed while bypassing the sensationalism that often fuels alarm.
“It’s utterly rewarding to watch Australia’s budding comedians tackle some of the nation’s most dubious news reports.
But let’s be real; my agenda is to gather scoop for an explosive tell-all interview in a few years,”
said co-host Jan Fran.
The show is more than just a television programme; it serves as a breeding ground for emerging Australian comedy talent.
Through internships, workshops, and writing sessions led by seasoned Australian comedians and writers, Question Everything provides an invaluable stepping stone for aspiring talents in the comedy arena.
