Stan has just unveiled the release date for the eagerly awaited new season of Billy The Kid. Mark your calendars for October 16, the show will debut in Australia concurrently with its U.S. premiere.
Penned and executive produced by Michael Hirst, renowned for his work on Vikings, the Western drama is a showcase for young talents like Tom Blyth, known for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, and Australian actor Daniel Webber, previously seen in Escape from Pretoria and Marvel’s The Punisher.
Set against the backdrop of the historical Lincoln County War, the show dramatises the life of the infamous outlaw William H. Bonney, also known as Billy The Kid. Played by Blyth, the character makes a life-altering move from New York to the American West with his Irish immigrant family.

Notably, the ensemble cast also includes Eileen O’Higgins as Kathleen McCarty and Sean Owen Roberts as Bob Olinger.
Others gracing the screen are Dakota Daulby playing John Beckwith, Ryan Kennedy as Ash Upson, and Ian Tracey portraying Frank Baker. Additional actors include Vincent Walsh, Jamie Beamish, Guillermo Alonso, Shaun Benson, Christie Burke, and Chad Rook.
Joining Michael Hirst in the executive production team are Donald De Line of De Line Pictures and the duo of Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey from Amblin Television.
