New faces join the cast of House of the Dragon in its second season. Streaming begins 17 June on BINGE and Foxtel
BINGE and Foxtel have unveiled the official trailer for the eagerly awaited second season of House of the Dragon, set to premiere on 17 June. This acclaimed series, based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, explores the history of House Targaryen 200 years before Game of Thrones.
The ensemble cast returning for the new season features Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. Other returning members include Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.
New actors joining this season are Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.
Prior to the launch of season two, fans have the opportunity to revisit the first season of House of the Dragon along with all eight seasons of Game of Thrones on BINGE.
The production team remains robust with George R.R. Martin, Ryan Condal, Sara Hess, Alan Taylor, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Loni Peristere, and Vince Gerardis all returning as executive producers.
