The world of The Walking Dead expands further with Stan’s recent announcement, renewing The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon for a second season.

Stan’s commitment to the zombie-infested series ensures Australian viewers will enjoy the premieres on the same day as their US counterparts.

In the suspense-filled first season of The Walking Dead: Dead City, we follow the captivating journey of beloved characters, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), as they navigate a post-apocalyptic Manhattan that is detached from the mainland.

The former metropolis now teems with the undead and a unique breed of New Yorkers thriving in a realm of anarchy, peril, splendour, and horror.

The parallel series, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, spotlights Daryl (Norman Reedus) who finds himself marooned in France. A bewildered Daryl embarks on a journey across a battered yet defiant France, seeking a path home and attempting to understand his mysterious circumstances. His encounters along the way, however, add layers of complexity to his final goal.

Stan has also unveiled a tantalising title for a third series in The Walking Dead Universe, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.

Set to premiere in 2024, this new series is poised to welcome back crowd favourites Rick and Michonne, played by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira. Stan has also released trailers and teasers for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, fuelling anticipation.

Stan will premiere the concluding episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City this Monday, with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon set to kick-off on September 11.
