The 10 network in an evening purple patch that will only get better in the short term.

Channel 7

Home & Away (448,000) slots back into its normal average at 7pm for Seven, while Million Dollar Island Australia (240,000) is truly humbled into fourth in primetime. The rest of the night was dedicated to US dramas The Rookie (172,000), The Rookie: Feds (131,000), and The Blacklist (38,000) which had PVRs (and not much else) whirring.

Seven first in both primary (17.1%) and network (27.1%) rankings.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (618,000) an easy winner for Nine at 7pm, and while Rush (242,000) does just beat its main commercial rival it is in a distant third in the slot. A repeat of Travel Guides (204,000) isn’t competitive either, and Chicago Med (73,000) and See No Evil (54,000) draw in only a dedicated few.

Nine second in both primary (17%) and network (24.5%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (475,000) and New Leash On Life (309,000) slide into second place for the ABC in primetime (again) as their commercial competition capitulates. The Dark Emu Story (285,000) draws a smaller audience though it was still enough to claim second in the slot. Repeats of Louis Theroux interviews Yungblud (83,000) and Four Corners (30,000) close out the evening.

ABC third in primary (12.7%) and fourth in network (17.5%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (164,000 6:30pm; 272,000 7pm) drops on Monday, as does Hunted Australia (472,000) however it stands head and shoulders above the rest to take primetime easily. The Cheap Seats (352,000) lifts on last week to secure an easy win in the timeslot following. Repeats of NCIS (108,000) and Riptide (28,000) close out the night with little fanfare.

10 fourth in primary (12.5%) and third in network (19.6%) rankings.
