After 7:30pm it was a wasteland for Seven and Nine…except for some late-night tennis tragics.

Channel 7

Home & Away (483,000) kicked off as Seven’s best (by far), before Million Dollar Island Australia (273,000) proved it has well and truly jumped the shark, even though it lifted 20k on Monday’s performance. US dramas The Rookie (173,000), The Rookie: Feds (111,000), and The Blacklist (31,000) fill out the late night for fans only.

Seven first in both primary (17.2%) and network (26.7%) rankings.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (597,000) takes a win at 7pm for Nine, before Rush (281,000) drags in another audience of little consequence. A repeat of Travel Guides (180,000) doesn’t come close to challenging 10’s successful panel show, before the schedule flipped over to Wimbledon: Day 9 (122,000).

Nine second in both primary (17.1%) and network (25.1%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (194,000 6:30pm; 288,000 7pm) kick off another solid primetime for 10, with MasterChef Australia (547,000) taking the 7:30pm slot and The Cheap Seats (340,000) unmatched afterwards. Repeats of NCIS (112,000) and Riptide (36,000) fill out the evening.

10 third in both primary (12.8%) and network (20.1%) rankings.

ABC

It’s a slower Tuesday for the ABC, with 7:30 (461,000) and New Leash on Life (289,000) not really competing in the primetime scuffle yet still coming out a clear second. The Black Hand (212,000) does reasonable-if small business before it threw to a repeat of Louis Theroux interviews Dame Judi Dench (195,000), followed by a repeat of Four Corners (33,000) to fill out the late night.

ABC fourth in both primary (11.2%) and network (16.4%) rankings.

SBS

The race is back on after a rest day, so Great Coastal Railway Journeys (180,000) and Insight (151,000) on SBS act primarily as preparation for Tour de France: Stage 10 (110,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (7%) and network (11.8%) rankings.
