If it wasn’t for the cricket Nine was well and truly cooked.

Channel 7

Dancing With The Stars (647,000) takes another win for Seven to start the week, followed by a stronger 7News Spotlight (303,000). Far smaller audiences tuned in for Born To Kill? (79,000) and Autopsy USA (49,000) afterwards.

Seven first in primary (19%) and second in network (24.9%) rankings.

Channel 9

Nine lean into the premiere of their big new reality series Rush (301,000) which…had some stiff competition from within its own network though, frankly, is cooked (fourth in primetime–on a Sunday!). 60 Minutes (341,000) takes the win in the Sunday public affairs race (just), as Australian Crime Stories (116,000) and The First 48 (72,000) kept diminishing audiences through into the late evening. All the heavy lifting for the network was over on 9Gem with The Ashes: Second Test Day 5 S1 (750,000) – and subsequent sessions through to Australia’s victory – drawing a massive audience into the early morning.

Nine second in primary (14.7%) and first in network (41.7%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Sunday Project (187,000 6:30pm; 289,000 7pm) is still landing in some of its best numbers for 10 to start the week, in part due to the reliability of MasterChef Australia (411,000). FBI (183,000) and a repeat of NCIS: Hawaii (86,000) fill out the rest of the night.

10 third in both primary (9.3%) and network (14%) rankings.

ABC

The ABC’s night rolls through another ep of Grand Designs Revisited (336,000) and then into dramas Silent Witness (274,000) and the final ep of The Messenger (81,000). Repeats of In Limbo (45,000) and Small Axe (DNR) close out the night.

ABC fourth in both primary (8.2%) and network (11.3%) rankings.

SBS

Mystery of the Ark of the Covenant (126,000) builds into the Tour de France 2023: Stage 2 (91,000), signalling the start of a big month on SBS.

SBS fifth in both primary (4.7%) and network (8%) rankings.
