Channel 7
Seven lead their night with Home & Away (500,000) and then drop into the first night of the final of the ICC World Test Championship (563,000 S1; 338,000 lunch; 293,000 S2; 115,000 S3).
Seven first in both primary (24.4%) and network (32.5%) rankings.
Channel 9
Nine lands A Current Affair (654,000) with a timeslot win, as does Travel Guides (686,000) sneaking in front of the return of the ABC’s comedy favourite. A repeat of MOVIE: London Has Fallen (167,000) and New Amsterdam (26,000 BNE/MEL) maintain minor audiences into the late night, throwing in a mid-week Footy Classified (116,000 MEL/ALD/PER) for good measure.
Nine second in both primary (20.3%) and network (27.6%) rankings.
ABC
7:30 (433,000) and the season five premiere of Utopia (607,000) give the ABC a huge start to the night and boost their comedy Wednesday with a strong third place in primetime. The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (422,000) and In Limbo (187,000) follow, leading into repeats of QI (178,000), Take 5 with Zan Rowe (95,000), and Ragdoll (DNR).
ABC third in both primary (12.1%) and network (16.8%) rankings.
Channel 10
The Project (179,000 6:30pm; 262,000 7pm) drops into MasterChef Australia (399,000), both again reliably for 10 though both down on previous nights this week. North Shore (180,000) chugs along afterwards to diminishing numbers, pushing Law & Order: SVU (132,000) and Fire Country (55,000) later into the night with smaller audiences.
10 fourth in both primary (9%) and network (15.4%) rankings.
SBS
Another great episode of History of the Sitcom (64,000) opens the night for SBS, followed by The Mayfair Hotel Megabuild (88,000) and Blue Lights (42,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.1%) and network (7.7%) rankings.

16-39: ICC World Test Championship Day 1 S1 (109,000) led Travel Guides, Seven News 6:30pm, and Nine News 6pm/6:30pm.
