The fast-tracked tenth season whisks a new group of single hopefuls to the sun-soaked island of Mallorca, Spain, setting the stage for a scintillating summer brimming with laughter, dates, drama, and romance. This year promises more entertaining challenges and engrossing encounters than ever before.
Returning as host is English radio DJ and TV star, Maya Jama, who made her debut in last season’s winter edition. Alongside Maya, famed comedian and narrator Iain Stirling resumes his role, providing witty commentary on the unfolding drama as the Islanders navigate the tricky terrain of flirting, dating, re-coupling, break-ups and make-ups.
Among those entering the villa this season are: Ruchee, a 24-year-old beautician; Tyrique, a 24-year-old semi-professional footballer; Molly, a 21-year-old musical theatre performer and social media creator; George, a 24-year-old business development executive; Catherine, a 22-year-old commercial real estate agent; Mehdi, a 26-year-old communications manager; Ella, a 23-year-old model; Mitchel, a 26-year-old gas engineer; Jess, a 22-year-old aesthetics practitioner; and André, a 21-year-old business owner.
This attractive group of singles will have to couple up to secure their place in the villa, vying for a chance at winning £50,000 ($90,000) and possibly finding love. But they will not only need to win over their fellow Islanders – they’ll also need to charm the public, as the fate of each contestant, including the ultimate winners of Love Island UK, will be decided by the viewers.
