World tennis stars will take to the famous red clay of Roland Garros in Paris for the tournament’s 127th edition.
The second Grand Slam tournament of the year, Roland Garros, will be broadcast live and free from Sunday, May 28, on 9GemHD and 9Now starting at 6.30pm.
Channel 9’s exclusive coverage will span 15 days of competition and is also available to stream ad-free, live, and on-demand on Stan Sport. Select matches will even be available in 4K resolution.
Viewers will enjoy expert commentary from Nine’s Wide World of Sports team, including Roz Kelly, Todd Woodbridge, Jelena Dokic, Samantha Stosur, Brenton Speed, and tennis analyst Brett Phillips.
The competition heats up with Daniil Medvedev, fresh off his surprise win at the Italian Open, overtaking Novak Djokovic in the rankings. This shift could see Djokovic drawn on the same side as Spanish sensation and World No. 1, Carlos Alcaraz.
Aryna Sabalenka, Australian Open champion, is also set to thrill fans as she faces women’s world No.1 Iga Świątek from Poland, who is eyeing her third Roland Garros title.
Leading the Australian contingent is world no.19, Alex de Minaur. Australian viewers will also be keenly following our highest-ranked female, Ajla Tomljanović.
