Channel 9 and 9Now will tonight provide a free-to-air premiere for The Rescue, an extraordinary documentary detailing the daring mission to save 12 young footballers and their coach from a flooded cave in Thailand.

The acclaimed directing duo, Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, breathes life into this improbable story with exclusive interviews, vivid re-enactments, and hitherto unseen videos.
The documentary offers viewers a rare insider’s perspective of the challenging discussions, linguistic obstacles in meetings, and the precise timeline of the high-risk rescue operation that gripped the world.
