Heading into a thrilling weekend of NRL action, Round 11 is set to commence with an epic clash between the top-ranking Brisbane Broncos and the formidable Melbourne Storm.

The action will be screened live from 7.30 pm Thursday on Channel 9HD and 9Now.

Brisbane, currently basking in the spotlight atop the NRL ladder, faces the daunting task of breaching the Storm’s fortress, AAMI Park, where they have not recorded a victory since 2016. Star halfback Adam Reynolds, along with young guns Reece Walsh and Selwyn Cobbo, are the key instigators for the Broncos, looking to dismantle Melbourne’s defence.

However, they will have to contend with Melbourne’s magician, Cameron Munster, who is always ready to conjure up a game-winning play for his team.

Friday Night Footy will see the east-west showdown between the Sydney Roosters and the reigning premiers, Penrith Panthers. The Roosters are eager to prove their mettle by taking down the Panthers in their own backyard.

Key players to watch out for include powerhouse forwards James Fisher-Harris and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, whose clash promises to be a spectacle in itself. The influence of the Roosters’ James Tedesco and the Panthers’ Nathan Cleary could potentially dictate the outcome of this gripping contest.

On Sunday, the Sydney beachside rivalry between the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and the Cronulla Sharks will take centre stage. Sharks playmaker and NSW State of Origin hopeful, Nicho Hynes, will face off against Queensland and Manly’s stalwart halfback, Daly Cherry-Evans. The afternoon’s commentary will be provided by Nine’s experts and Origin coaches Billy Slater and Brad Fittler, from 3.00pm.
