Australian-based Architecture Channel Shelter has been named the Winner of MONOCLE’s Preferred Production Company at the third annual Design Awards.
The MONOCLE Design Awards celebrate the best in design from around the world, including architecture, urban planning, graphic design, and furniture production. The awards recognise talent from 25 countries, spanning six continents.
Shelter was one of two Australian companies recognised at the 2023 awards, alongside The Company You Keep for their work on the refurbished Collingwood Yards. MONOCLE aims to celebrate and build on the approach of good design that involves people and projects that enhance and enrich people’s lives. The awards highlight how enjoyable, beautiful, and practical design can improve our homes, offices, and cities.
Shelter founder and Managing Director Dustin Clare expressed gratitude for the recognition by MONOCLE. The award marks a key milestone for Shelter, which continues to establish itself as a channel for all things architecture and design, working within and between the design and streaming industries.
Co-founder Camille Clare expressed her honour at Shelter’s recognition for its commitment to making international, high-quality design films. The award inspires the team to continue pushing the boundaries of architectural storytelling. Winners of this year’s MONOCLE Design Awards receive a unique trophy designed by South Tyrolean designer Harry Thaler.
The awards celebrate talent from across the globe and recognise those who enhance people’s lives through exceptional design.
