No Thursday AFL doesn’t hurt Seven as much as it has in the past.

Channel 7

Home & Away (455,000 7pm; 398,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) offers a dependable start though it doesn’t win either timeslot. Britain’s Got Talent (202,000) draws a small audience however The Front Bar (294,000) is growing slightly, even when moved later. Fantasy Island (53,000) closes it all out.

Seven tie first in both primary (19.8%) and first in network (27.8%) rankings.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (582,000) opens Nine’s account on another night that splits:
Thursday Night NRL Live (304,000 (283,000 Nine BNE/SYD; 21,000 9GEM MEL/ADL/PER))
and Thursday Night Knock Off (118,000 Nine BNE/SYD)
-OR-
repeats of RBT (211,000 (186,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER; 25,000 9GEM BNE/SYD))
and Paramedics (163,000 (137,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER; 26,000 9GEM BNE/SYD)),
along with new Embarrassing Bodies (69,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER)
before everything comes back together with
A+E After Dark (66,000).

Nine tie first in primary (19.8%) and second in network (26.5%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (185,000 6:30pm; 301,000 7pm) really benefitting as the lead-in for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! (464,000) — though that ends on Sunday. The season 17 finale of Gogglebox Australia (381,000) maintains a lesser linear first-run average and a double repeat of Law & Order: SVU (159,000; 92,000) keeps fans happy.

10 third in both primary (15.1%) and network (21.3%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (424,000) and Foreign Correspondent (325,000) offer a solid start to the ABC, which slides with Grand Designs New Zealand (255,000). Repeats of Miriam & Alan: Lost in Scotland (148,000), Art Works (56,000), and Great Australian Stuff (27,000) close out an otherwise weak night.

ABC fourth in both primary (10.6%) and network (16.6%) rankings.
