My Kitchen Rules fans will be pleased to know that the beloved UK culinary star, Nigella Lawson, will return to the show’s finals alongside celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge.
Despite recent media reports suggesting Lawson would not be returning for the 2023 series, Channel 7 has now confirmed the hugely popular UK cooking presenter will return to participate in “Finals Week” in this year’s season of MKR.
Channel 7 copped some criticism from viewers last year after Lawson only appeared in the opening week of the 2022 season despite the network heavily her as the new host of the cooking series.
The upcoming season has mixed up the hosts, with French-born celebrity chef Manu Feildel taking on the role of host and judge alongside Colin Fassnidge. Feildel has been a part of MKR since its inception, while Fassnidge appeared as a guest judge in season four.
The duo also recently completed co-hosting and judging the New Zealand version of the show.
In an interview with News Corp, Lawson expressed her excitement for her return to MKR:
“I’m so thrilled to be back on MKR! It combines two of my favourite pastimes: championing home cooking and eating wonderful Australian food,”
The trio will travel across the country to meet passionate home cooks in their homes, with Lawson joining in for the judging at Kitchen HQ.
