The jungle proved too much for Australian television personality Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who left the reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” after only three nights.
The incident that led to her departure occurred during the first eating trial of the season when tensions flared between Kennerley and fellow contestant Dom.
The trial involved eating kudu testicles, and when Kennerley refused to participate, Dom called her out for being unprepared. Kennerley then declared that she would rather leave the show than eat the testicles, and the trial was stopped.
Kennerley returned to the camp and recounted her side of the story, revealing that she endured verbal abuse from Dom.
A visibly emotional Kennerley decided that it would be unhealthy for everyone if she stayed in camp and called out “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!” before leaving the show.
After her departure, Woody, Dicko, and Dom entered the camp and provided their versions of the story. While Woody and Dicko backed Dom’s effort, they acknowledged that Kennerley had no intention of participating in the trial.
Despite the drama, the remaining contestants managed to lighten the mood with an in-camp challenge and laughter-filled moments.
Chris and Julia, the show’s hosts, announced that Harry, Peter, Anna, and Adam had been publicly voted to participate in the next trial, Egg-ceptional Easter Eggathon.
Kennerley’s first television interview after leaving the jungle will be on The Project on Channel 10 tonight (Friday) at 6.30 pm.

What an absolute waste of time Kerri-Anne was in the show. No entertainment value at all, an embarrassment and a insult to those that are in there doing the right thing. She might have been tv royalty but in my eyes she has lost all my respect. Just retire Kerrie-Anne and ride off into the sunset. Your day is done. Don’t make more of a fool of yourself.
Kerry Ann behaved like a complete diva. She wasted everyone’s time. She wasn’t ‘in’ it from the start. Total non-starter. And a gaslighter too. Completely twisting reality to suit her truth. Not cool KAK!
