TV personality and Australian icon Kerri-Anne Kennerley has been revealed as a contestant on the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
The news was “inadvertently let slip” during a live cross from South Africa to the 2023 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, when fellow host Julia Morris greeted Kennerley off-camera as she was seen carrying her luggage across the red dirt, jungle-bound.
Despite the surprise reveal, fans of the show can look forward to seeing Kennerley join an impressive lineup of celebrities.
These include Logie-winning actress Debra Lawrance, outspoken TV host Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, reality TV star Domenica Calarco, radio host Woody Whitelaw, an Olympic medallist, a UK TV star, a queen of the court, an AFL star, a celebrity chef, a comedian, and a TV presenter whose identity is yet to be announced.
Kennerley is expected to make a big impression on her fellow contestants when she arrives at her new jungle home tomorrow night, but the question remains as to whether she will stay or utter the infamous words “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” and exit the show.
Before departing for South Africa, Kennerley sat down for an exclusive interview with her good friend, Sarah Harris.
Fans can tune in to The Sunday Project tonight at 6.30pm on 10 and 10 Play to catch the interview and hear Kennerley’s thoughts on her upcoming adventure.
