In the final stages of MAFS all the networks are preparing their new programming onslaught.

Channel 9

Nine remain unchallenged for the flagship programs A Current Affair (615,000) and Married At First Sight (855,000). Under Investigation (348,000) continues to benefit from its lead-in, as See No Evil (48,000) and Ordinary Joe (41,000) do little in the late night.

Channel 7

Seven start with Home & Away (452,000) delivering a consistent audience, and then bottoms out with the second of the two-part The Best of the Russell Gilbert Show (194,000). The Front Bar: All Sports Edition (299,000) soldiers on, doing great business in Melbourne. Repeats of We Interrupt This Broadcast (122,000) and Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera (42,000) bring additional eyeballs in the later night.

Seven second in both primary (16.8%) and network (25.6%) rankings.

ABC

The ABC’s comedy Wednesday continues to land a solid result, as the pairing of 7:30 (426,000) and Hard Quiz (513,000) push ahead with strength, as does the following pair of The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (382,000) and QI (254,000). A repeat of Celia Pacquola: All Talk (142,000) and a new ep of Adam Hill: The Last Leg (79,000) drag the laughs later also.

ABC third in both primary (13.5%) and network (1 7.6%) rankings.

Channel 10

With no big program in primetime for 10 The Project (155,000 6:30pm; 232,000 7pm) is finding it hard particularly in the second half-hour, before The Dog House Australia (307,000) arrives up slightly on last night and clearly in third place in the timeslot. Law & Order: SVU (123,000), Fire Country (79,000), and a repeat Bull (107,000) flesh out the late night for a small audience.

10 fourth in both primary (8.3%) and network (13.7%) rankings.
