It’s the morning after the Dinner Party and the second Commitment Ceremony is just around the corner.
Our Married At First Sight couples have had a tumultuous time and must now decide if they want to stay or leave the experiment.
Last night, Harrison admitted to Bronte that he got another woman’s number on a night out with the boys. But instead of taking responsibility, he tried to cover his tracks by spreading a rumour that Dan was the one who took the number.
As Dan and Sandy wake up, the tension is thick in the air as they discuss what happened the night before. Sandy is hurt by Dan’s actions and doubts his intentions.
Meanwhile, Melissa and Josh are still at odds after a fight earlier in the week. Melissa criticised Josh for his lack of physical intimacy, leaving Josh feeling emasculated. And Caitlin and Shannon are in separate apartments after a fight where Shannon criticised Caitlin’s appearance.
At the Commitment Ceremony, Claire and Jesse surprise everyone by revealing they’ve had a turnaround in their relationship. Bronte and Harrison remain strong despite the tension-filled dinner party. Sandy believes Dan is innocent and chooses to trust him over Harrison, who she doesn’t trust.
Tahnee and Ollie, Janelle and Adam, and Melinda and Layton continue to grow their relationships. However, tensions boil over for Melissa and Josh, and the experts are shocked at Melissa’s behaviour. She criticises Josh for not being ‘manly’ enough and for his lack of physical intimacy.
The experts are quick to hold her accountable for her actions, and Josh chooses to leave the experiment.
Alyssa and Duncan reveal they’ve finally had sex, and Lyndall and Cam resolve their issues from the night before. Finally, Caitlin reveals to the group all the horrible things Shannon has been saying to her. Expert John is disgusted by Shannon’s behaviour and holds him accountable for his actions.
Caitlin chooses to leave the experiment, knowing she deserves someone who will treat her well.
