The Eagles-Chiefs showdown is not just a matchup of the two best teams all season, but also two of the top quarterbacks in the NFL – Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts and Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes.

Hurts enters his first Super Bowl with expectation on his shoulders, whilst Mahomes enters his third, having already steered the Chiefs to Super Bowl triumph in 2020.

Brothers Jason Kelce (Eagles) and Travis Kelce (Chiefs) will also collide, the first time brothers have played on opposing sides in a Super Bowl.

Philadelphia secured a Super Bowl berth in convincing fashion, downing the New York Giants 38-7 and San Francisco 49ers 31-7.

The Eagles were last NFL Champions in 2018, 41-33, winning against the New England Patriots. Super Bowl LVII is their third Super Bowl appearance since 2005.

Kansas City Chiefs come into Super Bowl LVII on the back of a seven game winning run.

The Chiefs held their nerve in the playoffs to see off Jacksonville and Cincinnati to take their place in the Super Bowl.

Kansas City gained revenge for their defeat in the AFC Championship last season to the Bengals, winning a thrilling affair 23-20.

The Chiefs have now made three of the last four Super Bowl’s, lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2020. They were defeated by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.
