When one becomes three 10 ratings are worth crowing about…especially when you add in the BVOD and catch-up numbers.

It was the summer of love with the tenth season of The Bachelors Australia giving us not one, but three suitors looking for ‘the one’ as we turned up the heat, filming the series on the glitter strip of the fabulous Gold Coast in a stunning seaside penthouse and waterside mansion.

Audiences showed their love for The Bachelors Australia on 10 Play, clocking up an astounding 149 million minutes viewed, rocketing the series into the top spot as the number one show on broadcast video on demand (BVOD) during its run up 24% on the last season.

Chief Sales Officer, Paramount Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Rod Prosser, said:

“Audiences have shown their love to catch up on The Bachelors Australia with the series averaging 605,000 total viewers in 7-day figures.

“This shows the importance of letting content breathe and move through our ecosystem to meet viewing preferences and find new audiences in addition to overnights, on different channels and platforms within our business.

“Regularly trending number one on Twitter also helped build buzz, excitement and engagement in The Bachelors Australia that locked in the love as number one in our key demographics and number one in entertainment throughout the series, showing once again, we have offered a strong alternative to sport in summer.”

The numbers are in, and the 2023 season of The Bachelors Australia has the look of love securing impressive results.

  • #1 commercial show on BVOD during its run with 149 million minutes viewed.
  • 24% increase on last season’s BVOD audience.
  • Reached 5.76 million Australians across the series, or 22% of the population.
  • Reached 788,000 Australians on 10 Play across the series.
  • #1 entertainment program during its run in under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • 605,000 7 Day total audience as the series average.
  • 153,000 BVOD audience as the series average.
