BROADCAST SCHEDULE | De Minaur, Popyrin, Djokovic and Murray herald a monster AUSTRALIAN OPEN Day 6

It’s super Saturday, and the balls will be flying. 

Aussies Alex De Minaur and Alexei Popyrin will carry the nation’s hopes in their hands when they head up Super Saturday on day six of the 2023 Australian Open, available live and free on Channel 9HD, 9GemHD, plus every match, every court available to stream on 9Now. 

De Minaur will feature in the day session as he looks to book his spot in the fourth round by riding the wave of home support against Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi.

In the night session from 7.00pm, Popyrin’s underdog journey continues on Channel 9HD from 7.00pm and Novak Djokovic’s quest to join Rafael Nadal with the most Grand Slam wins ever meets its next stop, when he sets his target on Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov.

After his incredible five set comeback win against Kokkinakis, Sir Andy Murray returns for his third round clash with Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut

Aussie duo Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler are up against Great Britain’s Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliovarra of Finland in their second round men’s doubles match. 

In the women’s singles Caroline Garcia (world No.4) and Aryna Sabalenka (No. 5) are back on court today for their third round matches, where they’ll be hoping to progress and mount a title challenge against favourites Iga Swiatek (No. 1) and Jessica Pegula (No. 3). 

On Channel 9HD, the coverage will be hosted by James Bracey, Roz Kelly and Tony Jones, while on 9Gem, Nick McArdle, Emma Lawrence and Seb Costello will host Nine’s broadcast.

Commentary throughout the tournament will be provided by Jim Courier, Todd Woodbridge, Lleyton Hewitt, Jelena Dokic, Dylan Alcott, Casey Dellacqua, Sam Smith, Alicia Molik, Mark Philippoussis, Darren Cahill and Peter Psaltis.

Additional off-court reporting will come from Alicia Loxley, Matthew Pavlich, Clint Stanaway, Danika Mason and Madeline Slattery.
