World number one Novak Djokovic will begin his quest for a record-tenth Australian Open title tonight as the Australian Open continues at Melbourne Park.

Djokovic, who is the odds-on favourite to win, will face Roberto Carballes Baena in the first round on Tuesday.

This comes after top seed Rafa Nadal successfully defended his title with a 7-5 2-6 6-4 6-1 victory over British player Jack Draper in the first round. The Spanish star is also a strong contender for the title this year.

Before Djokovic takes to the court, British player Andy Murray will face a tough challenge as he goes head-to-head against 13th seed Matteo Berrettini.

Fans can also look forward to a thrilling match as women’s second seed Ons Jabeur takes on Tamara Zidansek.
