Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, because as Jed found out on the premiere of THE BACHELORS AUSTRALIA there’s always a psych student willing to kick you to the curb and harsh your chill.
Seven were always going to win tonight with the 2023 return of Home & Away (519,000) and then the lift of the ITV Harry: The Interview (487,000). This was all followed by a repeat of MOVIE: A Star Is Born (98,000), but it didn’t matter as they’d already convincingly won the night.
Seven first in both primary (22.1%) and network (33.1%) rankings.
The continuing summer edition of A Current Affair (514,000) led the night for Nine, followed by a reasonably lacklustre offering. New RBT (315,000) rolled into repeats of MOVIE: Queen: Days of our Lives (194,000) and The Equalizer (58,000).
Nine second in both primary (17.2%) and network (26.4%) rankings.
10 deliver their Prince Harry special in the 2023 return of the weeknight iteration of The Project (220,000 6:30pm; 327,000 7pm), followed by the season ten(!) premiere of the re-vamped The Bachelors Australia (309,000) which, honestly, is way better than you’re thinking and did way better than you probably expected. A repeat of MOVIE: Second Act (125,000) filled out their evening afterwards.
10 third in both primary (11.5%) and network (17.5%) rankings.
7:30 (422,000) and new Back Roads (363,000) led the night for the ABC, along with
Our Dementia Choir Sings Again (170,000). The later night was filled with repeats of A Life in Ten Pictures (108,000) and Our Brain (67,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (10.5%) and network (14.9%) rankings.
SBS kept it low-key, with a repeat of Lose A stone in 21 Days with Michael Mosley (64,000), new Heritage Rescue (86,000), and the next episode in the FTA premiere of Secrets of Playboy (56,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.5%) and network (8%) rankings.
