Wednesday Ratings | Season two finale of FISK leads the ABC to a big primetime win

The cricket’s back, and Nine’s reno/real estate shows again humbled by the ABC’s comedy line-up.

A Current Affair (537,000) leads the night for Nine as they press in with new eps of Country Home Rescue with Shaynna Blaze (332,000) and Dream Listing Byron Bay (206,000). A repeat of Escape to the Chateau (145,000) and new Family Law (46,000) flesh out the schedule.
Nine first in both primary (17.2%) and network (25.1%) rankings.

Seven’s summer changes gear as the final session of Australia vs West Indies – Day 1 (391,000) eeks into primetime. It was followed by a repeat of MOVIE: S.W.A.T. (117,000) and new The Amazing Race (28,000).
Seven second in both primary (16.5%) and network (24.3%) rankings.

7:30 (476,000) and a repeat of Hard Quiz (472,000) lead the night, before the slot-winning season finales of Question Everything (424,000) and Fisk (497,000). A repeat of Would I Lie To You? (298,000), new Adam Hills: The Last Leg (165,000), and a repeat of Death in Paradise (31,000) complete the night.
ABC third in both primary (16.1%) and network (21.5%) rankings.

Carrie Bickmore’s farewell on The Project (221,000 6:30pm; 347,000 7pm) runs late and offers a reasonable mid-week boost for 10. After that it’s pretty low key, with a double repeat of The Dog House Australia (311,000; 236,000), new My Life Is Murder (119,000) and then a repeat of Bull (57,000) following on.
10 fourth in both primary (11.2%) and network (18.3%) rankings.

SBS roll out two new shows in The Toys That Built The World (168,000) and Riveted: The History of Jeans (119,000), and a repeat of Boeing’s Fatal Flaw (82,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (6.6%) and network (10.8%) rankings.


KEY DEMOS

16-39: Nine News 6:30pm (81,000) defeats The Project 7pm, Seven News 6:30pm, Nine News 6pm, and Cricket: First Test – AUS v WI D1 S3.

18-49: Nine News 6:30pm (164,000) beat out Nine News 6pm, Seven News 6:30pm/6pm, and The Project 7pm.

25-54: Nine News 6:30pm (192,000) takes the triple demo win, followed by Nine News 6pm, Seven News 6:30pm/6pm, and The Project 7pm.

No changes to the previous week’s primetime line-up after the Total TV figures were added: Country Home Rescue with Shaynna Blaze (Nine) lifted 24% to 581,000; Code 1: Minute by Minute (Seven) lifted 6% to 454,000; and Claremont: A Killer Among Us (10) lifted 20% to 447,000.

The BVOD best were 2022 FIFA World Cup: FRA v AUS (270,000), Love Island Australia (257,000), Fisk (230,000), 2022 FIFA World Cup: MAR v CRO (212,000), 2022 FIFA World Cup: GER v JPN (135,000), Home and Away (130,000), and 2022 FIFA World Cup: FRA v AUS post-match (101,000).
