Sky News will provide your front-row seat to the U.S. Midterm Elections 2022 as America decides which party will control the United States Congress.
The congressional midterm elections are held in the middle of a President’s four-year term of office and will see U.S. voters have their say on who will represent them in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
For the past two years of Joe Biden’s presidency, the Democrats have held the majority in both chambers of Congress. This election, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and one-third of the 100 seats in the Senate are up for grabs.
The results of the U.S. Midterm Elections 2022 will significantly influence America’s legislation and foreign policymaking for the next two years which will have a profound impact on Australia and the world.
In the lead up to the midterm elections on Wednesday 9 November, Sky News Australia’s experienced team of reporters and commentators, including Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen, Political Reporter and Host of AM Agenda Laura Jayes and Sky News Anchors Rita Panahi and James Morrow will be in the U.S. providing the latest live updates, commentary and popular views from America’s heartland which will be key in deciding the country’s future.
