FIRST LOOK | BINGE confirms launch date for new PATRICK BRAMMALL and HARRIET DYER comedy COLIN FROM ACCOUNTS

Streaming platform BINGE has now confirmed a premiere date for the highly anticipated new Australian original series Colin From Accounts.

The new comedy created and written by, and starring, Patrick Brammall (No Activity and A Moody Christmas) and Harriet Dyer (Wakefield and The Invisible Man) will premiere 1 December with all eight-episodes dropping at once.

The first look trailer of the classic romantic comedy ‘boy meets girl…. girl flashes boy, love story’ was also released today.

Centred on Ashley (Dyer) and Gordon (Brammall), two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog, Colin from Accounts is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true self, scars and all, as they navigate life together.

Joining Brammall and Dyer, is Helen Thomson (Rake, Elvis), Emma Harvie (Frayed, Diary of an Uber Driver), Genevieve Hegney (Young Rock, Doctor Doctor)Michael Logo (Love Me, Daryl in Why Are you Like This), and Tai Hara(Hyde and Seek, Home and Away).

The series commissioned by the Foxtel Group is produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios, with Rob Gibson and Ian Collie producing for Easy Tiger (Jack Irish, Rake, Doctor Doctor). Directors are Trent O’Donnell (No Activity and The Letdown), Matt Moore (The Great and Diary of an Uber Driver) and Madeleine Dyer. Executive Producers are Brammall, (Harriet) Dyer, O’Donnell, Alison Hurbert-Burns and Brian Walsh. The series is distributed outside Australia and New Zealand by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The series has major production funding from Screen Australia with support from Create NSW.

Colin From Accounts premieres December 1 on BINGE
