The finale of THE AMAZING RACE AUSTRALIA did well, but couldn’t lift 10 out of primary channel fourth.

Nine take another night off the back of The Block (904,000) room reveals, and 60 Minutes (567,000) leads the way afterwards. The later did little with The First 48 (131,000) and Killer Couples (75,000).
Nine first in both primary (25.1%) and network (31.3%) rankings.

The season 10 premiere of Australia’s Got Talent (645,000) launched solid for Seven, however it was down 24% on the last season premiere in 2019. 7News Spotlight (304,000) struggled to compete afterwards, and the rest of the night was left to a repeat of Homicide: With Ron Iddles (190,000) and Born to Kill? (101,000) to entertain. During the day it was all about Bathurst 1000 with the 6 or so hours of race averaging 774,000 (up 4% year on year), and the podium pulling 1,060,000. 7plus added 68,000 and 94,000 respectively.
Seven second in both primary (23.5%) and network (30.8%) rankings.

The penultimate ep of this season of Spicks and Specks (413,000) ticked up nicely for the ABC, as did the finale of Savage River (349,000). Silent Witness (209,000) followed with a smaller audience in the later night, as did repeats of The Newsreader (47,000) and Shetland (27,000).
ABC third in primary (11.6%) and fourth in network (14.8%) rankings.

The Sunday Project (202,000 6:30pm; 264,000 7pm) is grinding its gears for 10, however the finale of The Amazing Race Australia (407,000 avg (376,000 finale; 438,000 finish line)) did pick up some reasonable interest in both parts. A double ep of NCIS: Hawaii (143,000; 106,000) filled out a light-on late night.
10 fourth in primary (10%) and third in network (15%) rankings.

SBS had a quiet night of history, with Curse of the Ancients (157,000) and a triple repeat of Roman Megastructures (82,000) – the latter 3 eps coded as one.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.8%) and network (8.1%) rankings.
