This Sunday night, 7NEWS Spotlight will air a groundbreaking new investigation into Michael Jackson’s death, which promises to expose the pop icon’s addictions and detail the final months of his controversial life.

The TMZ production delves into Dr. Conrad Murray’s conviction in Jackson’s death, as well as the vast universe of perpetrators who contributed to his substance abuse.

A never-before-seen interview with Jackson’s ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, who worked for infamous medico Dr Arnold Klein, who has been accused of being an enabler and unethical physician who fed the singer’s dangerous habit, will be featured in the two-hour special.

While his family and fans thought the Thriller and Bad performer was on top of the world, Harvey Levin, the show’s executive producer, claims Jackson was slowly unravelling in a downward spiral of addiction and despair at the time of his overdose death.

“People believe Dr. Conrad Murray is solely to blame for Michael’s death, but the truth is radically different and shocking,” Levin said.

The true crime exclusive, hosted by 7NEWS Spotlight’s Michael Usher, will leave fans knowing the true story of Jackson’s death.

  1. A message for Debbie Rowe.
Please don’t blame yourself for anything.
A day is viewed on a day to day basis.
It’s easier to look at the bigger picture, when it’s now in the past.
We all know what its like to do, or not do something that we wished we never did, or wished we did do.
Thats what they call living Life.
Don’t you think you have kicked yourself enough.
Please live life. You came into this world for a very important thing.
And you can be proud of yourself for this
