The prequel series to Game of Thrones is becoming a worldwide blockbuster television event.
Binge have decided to release the first episode of House of The Dragon for free on their YouTube channel.
Four episodes of the prequel series to Game of Thrones have thus far been released on the service, with six to go in the first season.
But now keen television viewers who haven’t subscribed to either Foxtel or Binge in Australia, and are yet to watch the new series, can view the premiere episode free of charge for a limited time.
Access will be made available for one month only, ending on October 18th, 2022.
The release of the premiere episode on Binge and Foxtel was a blockbuster event across Australia, smashing viewing records with 1.235 million viewers watching within the first week of its release.
At the time, Binge’s executive director, Alison Hurbert-Burns said:
“With so much anticipation around the series, we knew House of the Dragon was going to be popular but we have been blown away by the response to the opening episode.”
