The ABC’s strong Wednesday night sees them shoulder their way back into contention, ahead of 10.

A Current Affair (672,000) leads Nine’s night into another big episode of The Block (665,000) which, while it is the lowest in the week it is still 200+k ahead of second place. After The Verdict (311,000) draws a softer audience, as Family Law (116,000), and a repeat of Chicago Med (40,000) or new Footy Classified (113,000) fill out the night.
Nine first in both primary (21.7%) and network (31.1%) rankings.

Home & Away (474,000) delivers a consistent if lower than expected audience for Seven, not dissimilar to MKR (466,000) which is now heading into its final week. The rest of the evening is for older audiences only (and it shows in the numbers): Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific (244,000), Air Crash Investigations (116,000), and Chicago Fire (54,000).
Seven second in both primary (20.1%) and network (27%) rankings.

7:30 (481,000) coupled with a repeat of Hard Quiz (430,000) does the goods for ABC in primetime – third overall. Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (475,000) slips a little on last week though still delivering a good audience, while Aftertaste (168,000) continues its run of not much on first broadcast however picking up reasonable figures in Total TV. Win the Week (130,000) is buried and performing accordingly, leading into repeats of Adam Hills: The Last Leg (101,000) and Spicks and Specks (33,000).
ABC third in primary (12.5%) and fourth in network (16.5%) rankings.

10 under the pump. The Project (221,000 6:30pm; 327,000 7pm) not breaking 400k for the second half hour remains a recent concern, and The Masked Singer Australia (430,000 avg (420,000 show; 440,000 reveal))) slips??? again on the previous night for its semi-final that, similar to last year, offered one celeb a one-night only gig. Ghosts (192,000) and a double repeat of Bull (130,000; 104,000) do very little.
10 fourth in primary (11.1%) and third in network (17.4%) rankings.

A repeat of Tony Robinson’s History of Britain (160,000) led SBS’s night, followed by a repeat of Secret Scotland (139,000) and a new ep of The Stranger (62,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.4%) and network (8.1%) rankings.
