10 capitalise on a successful run for their reality cooking franchise.
A Current Affair (708,000) is Nine’s best by a longshot as Australian Ninja Warrior – Record Breakers (448,000) persists with a ‘special after the grand final’ that few seem to tune back in for. It was enough to come a distant second in primetime. The later night was less than enthusiastically embraced with a repeat of The Weakest Link (185,000) and Law & Order: Organized Crime (42,000).
Nine first in both primary (19%) and network (26.3%) rankings.
The Project (265,000 6:30pm; 406,000 7pm) lifts in support of the finale of MasterChef Australia (815,000 avg (755,000 finale; 875,000 winner)), which delivers massive business for 10. The Cheap Seats (396,000) also lifts a little off the back of it’s lead-in. Few tune in via linear broadcast TV for Football: Manchester United v Liverpool (37,000). 10 almost land a primary channel win – cheated by 0.1%!
10 second in both primary (18.9%) and network (25.2%) rankings.
Seven suffer another distant third place, with Home & Away (432,000) sliding, however the finale of Big Brother Australia (363,000) ticks up a little but misses on delivering its best all season. A double of US drama The Good Doctor (183,000; 160,000) attracts only a small audience, and the less said about a repeat of Autopsy USA (55,000) the better.
Seven third in both primary (16.4%) and network (24.1%) rankings.
The ABC Tuesday double of 7:30 (428,000) and The ABC Of…Wil Anderson (344,000) both slip a little, ending fourth in primetime. Carbon: The Unauthorised Biography (189,000) doesn’t raise many eyebrows or eyelids, and is followed by repeats of What Are We Feeding Our Kids? (93,000) and Four Corners (36,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (9.6%) and network (13.6%) rankings.
Who Do You Think You Are? Australia (331,000) lifts for SBS, before diving into a repeat of Concorde: Secrets Behind The Crash (171,000) and Tour de France 2022: Stage 10 (118,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (7.5%) and network (10.8%) rankings.
