This wasn’t a good night for anybody.

Assembling all the pieces Seven pull together a big win. The remaining airing of the Hey Hey It’s 100 Years (400,000 BNE/SYD/PER) special wins in each market it airs (and overall delivers 679,000 when you add in last week’s numbers – down on last year’s special by nearly half). It’s followed by MOVIE: 1917 (144,000 BNE/SYD/PER) which nearly nobody cares about. Seven’s AFL: Sunday Night Football (433,000 (318,000 Seven MEL/ADL; 115,000 7mate BNE/SYD/PER)) which ran in the AFL markets on the primary channel beat Hey Hey, so together it brings a sizeable audience for the evening. The problem? Splitting Hey Hey across two weeks means it doesn’t get a headline-grabbing win. The Total TV numbers add some joy for last week’s broadcast also.
Seven first in both primary (25.3%) and network (34.6%) rankings.

Lego Masters Australia (511,000) slips on its previous offerings, reflecting a soft night across the board. It picks up the primetime slot win only because it aired in all five markets. 60 Minutes (311,000) was way down on its usual offering. Repeats of Australian Crime Stories (131,000) and Manhunt: The Wests (79,000) marks time in the later and late night slots.
Nine second in both primary (19.1%) and network (26.7%) rankings.

If anything was going to suffer with small weekend audiences, for 10 it would always be The Sunday Project (185,000 6:30pm; 260,000 7pm). MasterChef Australia (442,000) picks up a little, landing it’s second smallest audience for the series today. New and repeat eps of FBI (180,000; 124,000) retained little interest.
10 third in both primary (11.4%) and network (16.9%) rankings.

Grand Designs (379,000) lifts on last week’s low numbers, however Barons (186,000) all but vanishes on linear broadcast premiere (ABC will be hoping Total TV numbers lift it a lot). Life (105,000) also very small, as repeats of Harrow (43,000) and Top of the Lake: China Girl (25,000) are blips in the schedule.
ABC fourth in both primary (9.3%) and network (13.3%) rankings.

SBS’s Sunday delivers Secrets to Civilisation (124,000), Chernobyl: The New Evidence (144,000), and a repeat of The Hunt for Shackleton’s Ice Ship (52,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (5.2%) and network (8.5%) rankings.
