Former Blockheads Bec Douros and Jimmy Wilkins are set to make their debut on the program.
Open Homes Australia returns for an epic fifth season on 9LIFE in 2022.
The new season premieres this Saturday afternoon, March 12, taking viewers right across Australia from coast to coast.
Two brand new hosts, Bec Douros and Jimmy Wilkins, will join Michael & Carlene Duffy, Jesse Raeburn, David Franklin, James Treble, Bessie Kay and Natalee Bowen this season to show you the best in home design that Australia has to offer. From new age designs, to old world renovations this season has something for all tastes.Â
In episode one, James Treble kicks the season off with a bang in a coastal marvel in Sydney’s Seaforth. Former Block contestant’s Bec Douros and Jesse Raeburn then take us to Melbourne to dissect Ronnie and Georgia’s latest and greatest home from the 2021 season of The Block.
Jimmy Wilkins visits one of the most modern homes he’s ever seen, in the bayside suburb of Cleveland, east of Brisbane, and Michael Duffy caps it off with an architectural beach house on Stradbroke Island.
New to Open Homes Australia, Bec Dourus said:
“It was amazing to join the Open Homes Australia team as a host for Season 5. I had not returned to a Block house since 2013, so it evoked a lot of emotions for me but was a really enjoyable experience. I look forward to you hearing our thoughts on Ronnie and Georgia’s home.”
Returning for another season, Michael & Carlene Duffy said:
“We had such a fantastic time hosting Season 4 of Open Homes Australia and we’re excited for you to see what we’ve got in store for you in Season 5. This season we take you to some amazing homes with inspiring designs!”
