Three Australian Paralympians will be on show today, when the wintery action kicks off in Beijing.
Last night, Paralympic Alpine Skier Mel Perrine and Paralympic Snowboarder Ben Tudhope carried the Aussie flag into Beijing’s Bird Nest Stadium in a spectacular Opening Ceremony, but today it’s all down to business in the XIII Paralympic Winter Games.
Vision impaired Alpine Skier Patrick Jensen and Guide Amelia Hodgson, will tackle the Downhill, alongside team mates Mitch Gourley and Sam Tait. Whilst all three compete in different classes, they are grouped together in the same event and a factoring or points system is used to determine the results meaning each athlete holds the same chance of success.
Also on 7plus today, tune into the  Para-biathlon and Para-ice hockey
