Everything in primetime lifted–some bigger than others.
Married At First Sight (1,007,000) lands its biggest numbers of the season so far for Nine, mercilessly crushing its competition. 60 Minutes (611,000) enjoys the halo and pulls better numbers than last week, as Australian Crime Stories (270,000) and The First 48 (84,000) does its part to help secure the win.
Nine first in both primary (27.2%) and network (34.5%) rankings.
Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars (605,000) lifts slightly on last week’s premiere and manages to keep itself in second place in primetime, while Crime Investigation Australia (270,000) benefits from 10 throwing a movie that isn’t exactly a crowd pleaser. Born to Kill? (158,000) and Death Row: Countdown to Execution (87,000) fill out the rest of the schedule.
Seven second in both primary (19.5%) and network (26.8%) rankings.
The Sunday Project (243,000 6:30pm; 354,000 7pm) lifts itself out of last week’s doldrums, though it still not a massive start to the week. Australian Survivor (499,000) picks up the smallest amount of audience though still lands in third place in primetime. What’s a LaPaglia gotta do?! The network premiere of MOVIE: Joker (116,000) saw a largely bewildered audience coupled with a few fans who don’t have access to it via other services or methods.
10 ties third in both primary (11%) and network (16%) rankings.
Grand Designs New Zealand (444,000) starts a reasonable night for the ABC, followed by the premiere of Troppo (353,000) offering not much for viewers though it should have a reasonable second life in BVOD. The premiere of the fourth and final season of Killing Eve (153,000) suffered same and also should bounce next week. Repeats of Patrick Melrose (54,000) and Harrow (38,000) round out the night.
ABC ties third in both primary (11%) and network (16%) rankings.
SBS’s Sunday started with Treasures of Arabia (139,000), followed by Atilla’s Forbidden Tomb (123,000) and a repeat of Every Family Has A Secret (57,000) ahead of the new season coming soon.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.4%) and network (6.7%) rankings.
