Former Seven executive THERESE HEGARTY appointed CEO of production company HELIUM

After an extensive background in production and distribution, including a tenure at Seven, Hegarty joins the company established in 2021.

With a highly respected career in production and distribution Therese Hegarty has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of HELIUM. 

Most recently Chief Executive of Seven Studios Group – helming the group’s entities and activities across Sydney, Melbourne, London, Auckland and Los Angeles, and previously VP Production & Business for Beyond International, Therese has extensive experience in program development, production and distribution across both production company and broadcast platforms.

Having successfully developed and executed content in various genres for both the Australian and global marketplace, Therese is focussed on creating Australian content for local and international audiences and finding partnership opportunities with creative people and companies.   

In making the announcement HELIUM Founder, Chief Creative Officer & Chair Mark Fennessy said:

Comprising Helium Pictures, the boutique Helium Studios, and the independent music label Helium Records – HELIUM specialises in the creation of innovative, authentic and compelling content, whilst redefining the boundaries between music and pictures.
