Channel 10 sets up Olympic battle with premiere date for THE BACHELOR AUSTRALIA

The 10 Network has released a new promo, and confirmed a premiere date for the next season of The Bachelor Australian.

The new season, which features 31-year-old Pilot Jimmy Nicholson’s in the lead role is now locked in to premiere on Wednesday, 21 July at 7.30pm.

The announcement means the romance franchise will premiere just days before the Tokyo Olympics commences on Friday July 23 on Seven.

With a new season of Australian Survivor expected to air on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights followed by The Bachelor airing on Wednesday and Thursday, the 10 Network is looking to capitalise on a perceived lack of interest in the games by providing a strong programming alternative.

Channel 10 is promising this years season will features some of Australia’s most eligible Bachelorettes including Lily, a Crane Operator, Brooke an Occupational Therapist, Marketing Manager Holly and Nutritionist Jay.

Who will surprise Jimmy when these wonderful Bachelorettes put their best heels forward, to secure their first class ticket to love?

The Bachelor Australia premieres Wednesday, 21 July at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play On Demand.
