“Carrie-Anne is an outstanding reporter presently based within our Melbourne News team.

She’s been one of GTV’s lead reporters covering the Victorian capital in total COVID lockdown. She’s broken several exclusives in recent weeks, including fresh outbreaks within the state’s aged care system, and told powerful human stories that cut through statistics and reveal the true face of the pandemic.

Carrie-Anne has been reporting at GTV for the past four years. She’s been with NINE for more than a decade and previously reported for our Brisbane and Gold Coast news teams. She joined NINE after launching her career with WIN News in regional Queensland.

Among the major stories she’s covered were the 2018 Royal Tour, the 2017 Dreamworld ride tragedy, natural disasters in Queensland, shark attacks and bikie battles. She’s reported from Tahiti, Thailand, Jordan, Uganda, Mozambique and Samoa, including presenting and producing two documentaries for NINE – “Aussie Mum, African Heart” and “Thunder on the Reef.”

Carrie-Anne will take up her role in London in the coming months, replacing Sophie Walsh who is finishing her term overseas and returning to TCN.”

Carrie-Anne has an identical twin sister, Amy Greenbank, who is a political reporter for ABCTV. The pair grew up in Grafton NSW, where they topped their 2004 graduating class at South Grafton High School and received full university scholarships to study media.

Carrie-Anne graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a degree in journalism. She’s also a qualified private investigator, who started her career at WIN News Rockhampton before taking up a position of Bureau Chief of WIN Cairns.
